Graphic Elements

Aptar has a minimal but distinct pairing of graphic elements that are used consistently across the website: the color wedge and the background angle.

Color Wedge

The color wedge is the most visible and commonly used graphic element on the Aptar website. While not exact, the angles of the wedge are based on the notch in the Aptar logo. The color wedge is used most prominently in header and footer blocks across the website.

The logo was the visual starting point for the color wedge used across the Aptar site.

Header Use

The color wedge is used on all image-based headers with the exception of the homepage to add visual interest and aid in wayfinding.

On Aptar segment pages, the color wedge in the header uses segment-specific colors. This visual cue helps reinforce the underlying structure of the site, helping visitors understand where they are.

Footer Use

The color wedge is used in all variations of the site footer.

Segment colors may be used on the footer on segment-specific pages.

Background Angle

Across the Aptar website, we use a light gray angled background to bring a subtle energy and movement to a page. The background element is automatically applied to the page at a consistent interval and may appear more than once depending on the length of the page. Applying it consistently ensures continuity across pages.
