Adding New Users

Giving a New User CMS Access

Aptar.com leverages Aptar’s SSO (single single-on) functionality to log into the website CMS. To give a new Aptar employee access to the website backend, please follow these instructions:

  1. Ask them to follow this link and login with their Aptar SSO: https://aptar.com/aptar-admin/. Please note that upon logging in the first time, they will not have any publishing permissions.
  2. Email Kelly.McGonnigle@edelman.com and ask to give a new user CMS permissions. Please include the new user on this email thread and indicate which level of access they should have (see permissions section below).
  3. After their user is updated, they will have access to the relevant content the next time they login.

To give a new non-Aptar employee access to the website backend, please follow these instructions:

  1. Email Kelly.McGonnigle@edelman.com and ask to give a new user CMS permissions. Please include the new user on this email thread and indicate which level of access they should have (see permissions section below).
  2. After their user is created, they will have access to the relevant content.
  3. If this is a temporary employee or vendor, please ask to remove their user once their work is complete.
