Video Use
Videos are a great way to engage users and promote products, events, and more. In order to maintain a consistent and easy-to-use website, it’s important that you upload videos in a specific way:
- Homepage B-roll video – The only video uploaded directly to the WordPress media library should be the homepage video. This video should be 10-15 seconds long, looping, include no audio and be less than 10MB.
- All other videos – Because WordPress is not meant to be a streaming platform, uploading videos directly to the CMS can cause performance issues on the site. Instead, videos should be uploaded to Aptar’s YouTube account and embed them using the designated component fields.
